What Services Do We Offer in Palm Beach?

We offer our services to commercial and residential properties across South Florida and the Treasure Coast. We’ve worked extensively with HOAs, condo associations, homeowners, and more.

While sprinkler and irrigation repair is our bread and butter, it’s far from the only service we offer. We’ve installed irrigation systems for all kinds of clients, as well as helping them plant or prune foliage.

We always encourage people to sign up for our Lucky Sprinkler™ program. When you do, you never have to worry about paying for sprinkler repair again. We offer monthly and bi-monthly maintenance plans.

If you’re having difficulty with pests, we also offer pest control. Ultimately, our goal is to be your go-to for many of the issues that might plague your landscape. We’re happy when you’re happy with how your property looks.

Why Choose O’Hara Sprinkler for Your Sprinkler and Irrigation Needs?

What’s the secret to our success? It’s simple, really. We treat each job like it matters because it does.

It matters because your landscape has such a profound impact on the way people view your property. It’s also important because we take our reputation seriously and want to ensure that we’re bringing our A-Game to every project we do.

This is why we offer the following:

  • Competitive pricing
  • Highly skilled technicians
  • 6-month warranties
  • Fast service (including same-day repairs!)

Why Palm Beach's Barrier Island Location Changes How We Approach Irrigation

Palm Beach sits in a category of its own along this stretch of coast: it's not just near the water, it is the barrier island, with the open Atlantic on one side and the Intracoastal on the other. That full-exposure setup creates irrigation demands unlike anywhere else we service.

  • With the Gulf Stream running closer to shore here than almost anywhere else in the country, Palm Beach experiences warmer year-round air and water temperatures. That warmth means irrigation systems here run on a more active schedule for more months of the year, with less of a true seasonal slowdown—which also means components get less downtime to "rest" between heavy-use periods. That’s why we build maintenance visits around that near-constant demand rather than a typical seasonal pattern.
  • Because the island is narrow, with water on both sides, properties here face salt air exposure from two directions rather than one. This accelerates corrosion on metal fittings, solenoids, and exposed wiring at a faster rate than we typically see even in other coastal towns, making upgrades to stainless or corrosion-resistant components a common recommendation for Palm Beach properties.
  • The island's soil is also different—much of it sits on a base of ancient coral-reef limestone, covered by a shallow layer of sand, rather than the deeper sandy flatlands found on the mainland. That thin soil layer drains extremely fast and holds very little moisture, so irrigation zones here often need shorter, more frequent watering cycles rather than the longer, less frequent cycles that work on deeper mainland soil. Systems configured with mainland-style settings tend to perform badly on Palm Beach's ground.

Given the island's high property values and dense concentration of luxury landscaping, we also see more decorative and specialty plantings that require precise zone calibration—a generic system setup simply doesn't hold up to Palm Beach's combination of thin soil, warm year-round climate, and double-sided salt exposure.
